Charleston

Charleston is the most famous dance from the 'Roaring Twenties'.

Shows:

Currently, our show contains four to five acts (charleston, slow and fast lindy hop). Of course there is also something to laugh... Over all, the show is about 10 to 15 minutes long. We're constantly working on the show trying to optimize and enlarge the programm. For bigger events we can also ask additional couples.

Strichpunkt ist ein Lindy Hop Showtanz Paar, das sich auf die Tänze der zwanziger bis vierziger Jahre spezialisiert hat. Wir tanzen neben Lindyhop auch Boogie Woogie, Charleston, Shag und Balboa. In unserem Show Programm finden Sie auch Jazzchoreographien wie zum Beispiel den relativ bekannten Shim Sham.
Strichpunkt hat schon nach kurzer Zeit international Shows getanzt. Ulla und Tim haben zum Ziel, dem Publikum die Freude am Tanzen weiterzuvermitteln. Dies können sie speziell auch in den Lindy Hop Workshops und Kursen tun. Natürlich geben sie auch Crashkurse um Tanzunerfahrenen die Freude an den Swing Tänzen weiterzugeben.
Sowohl Ulla wie auch Tim haben beide langjährige Tanzerfahrung. Beide haben schon früh Ballettunterricht genossen und sich später in verschiedenen Paartänzen weitergebildet. Während es Ulla mehr in Richtung Standarttänze zog, war Tim schon schnell bei den Swingtänzen zuhause. Ulla hat viel Turnier- und Showerfahrung in Standart und Latein. Tim ist Mitbegründer und ehemaliges Mitglied der Showgruppen Hellzapoppin Disaster und Punkt8. Er hat für beide Gruppen mehrere Choreographien geschrieben. Die Showgruppe Hellzapoppin Disaster konnte mit einer dieser Nummern sogar am Deutschen Fernsehen in Geld oder Liebe auftreten.
Strichpunkt ist das ideale Showpaar für Events im Bereich 'Roaring Twenties', 'Charleston', 'Al Capone's Night' oder auch sonst überall wo eine kurze actionreiche Show geboten werden soll. Natürlich sind Ulla und Tim gerne bereit Lindy Hop Workshops zu geben. Interessante Themen sind unter anderem 'schnelles Tanzen', 'Tanzen auf Musik', 'Führen und Folgen' und weitere. Natürlich geben Sie auch Crashkure für Anfänger.

Um allfällige Rechtschreibe Fehlern vorzubeugen: Der Lindy Hop wird nicht 'Lindihop' und auch nicht 'Lindyhop' geschrieben. Der Name lehnt sich an den Spitznamen von Charles Lindbergh der 1927 über den Atlantic flog. Der Tanz hiess vorher schon 'the Hop'. Seit 1927 hiess er dann Lindy Hop.
Wir haben auch schon davon gehört, dass uns Leute als Strickpunkt Tanzpaar suchen. Da wir aber als Strich und Punkt auftreten, kann man uns leider auch nur unter Strichpunkt finden.
